Maverick R Pro Desert Chromoly Radius Rods

Built to conquer and own the desert.  We set out to produce the strongest, most durable and lightest set of radius rods on the market while hitting all of the key features that we wanted to.

The lower radius rods begin life as a piece of 1.25 .125 wall 4130 chromoly tubing.  We press in a piece of 1" 7075 solid round bar aluminum and create a solid rod from tip to tip, this creates a radius rod that is significantly stronger than a piece of 1.25" .188" chromoly tubing but weights the same amount.  Chromoly tubing has superior strength until it dents, and it typically bends after it dents.  The piece of solid aluminum on the inside completely fills the inside of the tubing and won't allow the chromoly tubing to dent, therefore maintaining enormous strength even after coming in contact with an object that would typically dent the tube.  The strength added from the 1" piece of 7075 bar is icing on the cake.  The ends of the lower rod house FK WSSX12T uniballs and are machined from 4130 chromoly to withstand whatever you throw at it.

The middle radius is made from 1.25" .125" 4130 chromoly.  It uses 3/4" FK JMX12T and JMXL12T rod ends on both sides with 303 stainless spacers which means the toe is adjustable on the car.  These also use the same double shear bracket at the spindle as our Pro Rock radius rods so big strength gains are had on the middle radius rod as well.

The upper radius rod is also made from 1.25 .125" 4130 chromoly.  It uses 3/4" FK JMX12T and JMXL12T rod ends on both sides with 303 stainless spacers which means the chamber is adjustable on the car.

Short course and dune riders, we can create these radius rods less the aluminum slug in the lower radius rod for less weight upon request, it will reduce the retail price by $75.

Like all CT suspension products these have a lifetime warranty.  Some rare instances may see very minor contact with the frame at full droop with the lower radius rod.  This can create a cosmetic blemish on the inside of the rod, but not affect anything structurally.
